Can I use a LEAF BLOWER to clean my PC?

Teemo4Life

Leaf blower for cleaning? People have done it and nothing happened.

High chance of destroying your parts? People do it without holding your fans obviously for obvious reasons.

Saves money.

Btw I can't get the ED500 it's not in AU

(I'm not trying it) there are videos on YouTube of people cleaning out their PC with a leaf blower eg Brandon from Node doing it

Wouldn't recommend it.

Sure. Take a video too.

I'm not going to try it unless it's 100% free of knot killing your PC. I can't afford another one

Strap it down first then, and make sure you don't have anything that will bend easily in the case.

Probably more expensive than some canned air but take a video and post it here if you do.

I would NOT recommend it, extreme ESD danger in doing that.

Would probably rip some capacitors off I would think.

But almost everyone has a leaf blower. I don't see anyone have compressed air at home. No use except for cleaning out PC and peripherals.

Good for electronics in general.  Also good for getting dust out of tight spaces.  Not many people have leaf blowers.

What makes the ED500 safer than a leaf blower.

They both blow out a lot of air. Is one non static.

Use an air compressor.  It's worth it if you also want to fill up air in tires and stuff too...  or...  sweep :P  But mine doesn't have as much of a questionable static problem as that leaf blower and doesn't require you to spend $10 for just a can.  I have blown out my computer many times, and have yet to kill a capacitor.

For the Best builds and Price lists here is a world where many points of the price have been predefined already for your convenience!

The Xeon E3 1231 V3 IS BETTER Than the Core i5 4690K and a Significantly better value for the non-overclockers or value shoppers.

The OS is like a kind food, Try it before saying if you like it or don't.

You've stated that several times.

Fuckin eh bud, you can't compare a leaf blower to an electric PC air blower/cleaner.

See past comment, go to Costco.

Actually I would take it to a machining shop/welding shop/any shop and ask them if they can blow it out for you with the air compressor. They'll probably do it for free too.
