ha!  There's a 9800GT in the computer in our den :D  I don't use it though...

Well the GTS250 is a rebrand of the 9800GTX (and the 9800GTX is a rebrand of the 8800GTX)

Well the GTS250 is a rebrand of the 9800GTX (and the 9800GTX is a rebrand of the 8800GTX)

 

They rebranded a lot back then.  Though I was feeling I was about 8 generations back.  Also I am impressed with everyone's graphics cards, regardless if they are Red team or Green team. :)

The only GPU I'm capable of using at the moment is the Intel HD 3000 in my crappy laptop. It plays BF3 at 20 FPS average with a resolution of like 514x384, I think it was? I'll be getting a new laptop around Christmas by selling my desktop. My hope is to get one with a GTX 970M.

this thing is surprisingly powerfull. all people ever say is how it sucks, and now that the 950 is out, it kinda does. but still, back when i bought it it really kinda amazed me.

I went from a 5770 to a 7950, then a 280 (I know same card, but the cooler was the interesting thing and the switch didn't cost me much), then returned the 280 and went for a real upgrade: my lovely 290.

I really wish the card was quieter though..... mATX and a 290 is not really the best combination I guess.

 

Edit: I forgot my X1950XT frpm before the 5770....the GPUs I had before that are.....dunno some NVIDIA MX440 was there....I just forgot.
