How big is Boxing Day in the USA and elsewhere?

In NZ its our big day of sales. Was wondering if it was even a thing elsewhere? Everyone seems focused on black Friday/cyber Monday.

 

Edit: For those who don't know, its the day after Christmas.

Boxing day isn't as big for sales in England but generally they'll be a football match on my family will always go to.

I guess it is in more than just Canada but the US doesn't really observe it officially.

All these shopping day things are over hyped. The only good deals are on cheap laptops from Walmart or cheap Korean knock off TVs from Walmart that will break in a year and look horrible. The most you could save would be $70 and that was on SSDs.
