Things you've bought because Linus recommended it?

Alcatraz

Wow, can't believe the number of G710+'s on here, I must add myself to that list

Then, after ordering it I saw Slick on the livestream (what it was called then) trash it when Linus asked for his opinion on it. Funnier still was seeing his work rig with that keyboard on it, HA! So much for mister picky keyboard user and G710+ ragger, he's on the bandwagon.

I roll with sigs off so I have no idea what you're advertising.

This is NOT the signature you are looking for.

I mainly recommend stuff he praises. The only product I bought that was heavily influenced by Linus would be the Noctua fans that are littered in my case :P. Everything else, such as my Xonar STX, G9X, Fractal R4, was just reinforced by Linus since I was already wanting to buy them.

La`~

My 7950 because he said on one of the live streams that the price difference between that and the 7970 was too much for a 10% difference in performance.

I've bought things because of TinyTomLogan, never because of Linus though. as much as I respect his opinion.

I've bought a lot of things after watching toms vids because of his longer, in depth looks.

I treat Linus' vids as a good intro, I usually watch them even if i'm not looking for a product because Linus' style means I can get the basic grasp of a product and any beneficial new features it might offer me very quickly. The only exception is the modmic, which was brought solely to my attention by Linus and I purchased after his overview video the other day.

I got a Sargas 900 after watching one of his unboxings. I'd spent 2 years without a mousepad and I'd never heard of this company, so it was cool to see how this would fit perfectly on my desk and I bought it right away.
