Need to light up this huge case, white LED's. Any suggestions?

 

Horrible pic quality, lighting in this room is poor.

Dont phanteks make LED strips which are sized for their cases? ;)

If your wanting single color LED's Addon Customs and Modguru make some nice lights Mod guru and Icemodz also make RGB LED lights if you want to have a variety of colors and lighting modes. 

 

For that case you should be good with two 30cm strips.

 

Alternatively you can get a roll of LED strips and cut them to length from Amazon or Ebay:

I bought some cheap (as in like $1.04 cheap) molex powered ones off of eBay and one strip lit up my case well. I think @spwath was the one that made me cave and buy them.

Yay!  Another Entroo Pro Owner.  Amazing case, eh?

 

I personally use an NZXT Hue.  Kinda a waste of money to be honest, I only ever use White or Blue, but the range of options is so vast.

 

If all you want is white, I would get something much less expensive, like NZXT's White LED Strip - $18. 

 

You MUST get 2 meters in length.  2 Meters was perfect length for me.

Yeah, they are great, so cheap, and work well. They still seem to work for me, I was worried about duribility

Is the case that good? If so I might pick one up. Or would the 750d for $99 be better?

I put these along the right side of my case (when looking into the side panel) along where the hard drive cages are and they are of great quality and they shine a nice red glow on all of my parts, although I assume you can get them in other colors if you don't like the red.

This might be a bit late, but I'd buy a sata connector to molex cable, and a 5m roll of led's this shouldn't set you back but 7 bucks total, cut to size the strip, solder the sata connector onto it and plug it into your sata power presto

I had a small BitFenix strip in my Scout 2 and was 'ok' but seemed to lose its brightness over time (1 year) never again

Not looking for a project, "plug-n-play". Budget can support a 'reasonable' price.

If your wanting single color LED's Addon Customs and Modguru make some nice lights Mod guru and Icemodz also make RGB LED lights if you want to have a variety of colors and lighting modes. 

 

For that case you should be good with two 30cm strips.

Addon Customs and Modguru are both Europe, shipping would be more than the product, sux cuz they have some good looking strips.

 

Hey, I am the owner of AddonCustoms.  Where are you located? Only wondering as many customers from the other side of the world have been able to buy 2x LED strips plus shipping which ended up being cheaper than buying 2x LED strips locally.  Each of our strips start at $12 (final price depends on what options you choose) Shipping is only $7, total for 2x LED strips and shipping would be $31

 

Just had a quick look and the closest ones to our for price is DarkSide (Darkside $10, mine $12, but they use 3528 chips (each chip contains 1 diode), while I use the higher quality 5050 chips (each chip contains 3 diodes), not only that but ours are wired and sleeved by hand, and tested before being sent, also have more customisable options that any other store.

 

Also our site hasn't been updated, as our new site is nearly ready, but the LED strips are no longer 25cm or contain 15 LED chips, they are now 30cm long, contain 18 LED chips and have also been given a lot stronger sticky back to keep them in place.

New site should be up very soon. New products will be available including RGB LEDs and we will be having a discount across our store since we missed Black Friday, and to celebrate the launch of the new site.

Im lovin my too, its a beast of a case. Ive used matx for my last 2 rigs, its nice to have all this freakin room!!!! might have to get a second Lightning ;)
