Is youtube to mp3 legal?

with google profiting off of every search and click you make, i don't feel that bad ripping a few songs off youtube, especially if its some huge artist that makes millions anyway. 

Except that YouTube does not make profit

It is just as illegal as straight up downloading the song from ThePirateBay.
