First of all, kudos to him for knowing how to use it at that age. Respectable.

Second, why was he burned only on the edges and not in the middle as well. Are only the edges made from metal while the middle is some non conductive metarial?

The ability to google properly is a skill of its own.

Whatever, there are perfectly good reasons not to recommend an apple watch regardless of whether this is not an isolated problem.

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

Because that's how current works. Electrons only travel on the outside edge of a wire. Same is true of a larger structure.

I've been wearing my apple watch since May. No problems whatsoever. Watch doesn't even get warm to the touch. No one on Macrumors or any other site has brought this up.

Story is probably bullshit. And there is no way the watch would have made marks like that unless it literally caught fire.

Way too polite for the "let's tack 'gate' on the end of every petty trivial kerfluffle" crowd.

I totally trust Apple into admitting their apple watch are responsible for the burns on this man's arm after THEY investigated it. It's a nice way to get rid of evidence too, they got the watch now.

Well they have sold millions of them, and this is only a single report - so why would they admit it? it would be a PR nightmare if a single product caused an issue and they issued a statement about it

they have to investigate first before just blurting shit out
