thats not the problem with cx psu's though the problem is people use them for expensive builds. CX psu's are mediocre at best.... They can run a mediocre system. But they shouldnt because for the price you can get something better. 

and mediocre is what a budget PC owner expects, there's no reason to spend on something better if he can get the same for lesser.

I'm interested in seeing who actually would put a low end PSU in a high end build.  Am I the only one who basically sorts by price high to low and assumes whatever is at the top is better than what's at the bottom?

My brother uses those cheap ass phone chargers...one of them even caught fire and he stills buys more...

and then here I am using an Insignia 300W in one system and a TR2 430W in another...at least my personal system has an AX1200. If I had a low end system I would use a CX power supply though, but not for something like mine

I have never used one these usb charger nor a CX psu(maybe its father gs600, but it was ok back then)

exactly! Someone looses their charger, so they search "apple usb charger" and the find an ad with a bunch of different colored ones. "These colored ones would go great with my colored case!"

But there is friend - they aren't as good as other PSUs in that segment because they have issues. XFX TS can deal with 50*C - CX can't deal with 30*C.
