Nvidia Launches new NVS - Digital Signage Video Card

I wish they'd make some cards like this but didn't cost as much - I don't need that much horsepower but I do need the display options for some client builds that I do.

Quadros and FirePro cards are expensive, but you have more costly components and circuit design allowing the card to operate 24/7 under intense heat (your GeForce/Radeon will die after a month, at best), you also have Nvidia/AMD direct support. And Nvidia/AMD makes directly these cards from A to Z (with exceptions, and if we exclude mobile chips, of course).

These cards are also deeply tested before the customer have it in their hands.

The builds that I do are mainly for programmers and I used some GeForce cards since they were cheaper than the Quadro cards and had the display options they needed. I've only done one for a cad designer and we used a K4000 for him.

 

I'd like just a single slot card with four display ports at least and not cost as much or more as a lower end GeForce card.

Just get any recent GeForce graphics card or Radeon with the ports you need and call it a day.

You'll most likely spend less money, and have the 4x projector you need

Just keeping this here as a Let's hope this NVidia card won't render people without a face, like they did in AC:Unity:

 

Maybe she's born with it, maybe it's maybeline - presented by NVidia.

That had nothing to do with nvidia on how ubisoft did not optimized the game properly. and that bug happens with 2 specific AMd cards with a particular AMD catalyst driver which was fixed on day one patch.

AMD has been delivering this for quite some time, like what... 6 monitors per GPU?

This NVIDIA card looks good especialy since it is only one slot and (looks like) it doesent require any aditional power connector. However the price is too high in my opinion. It should be cheaper to get more cheaper GPUs which would allow you to use even more monitors.

Two 750s together to make a display only graphics card makes a lot of sense for people who only need screen real estate but not performance.

Interesting choices but it makes sense to be honest.

It's probably insanely overpriced though.

The builds that I do are mainly for programmers and I used some GeForce cards since they were cheaper than the Quadro cards and had the display options they needed. I've only done one for a cad designer and we used a K4000 for him.

I'd like just a single slot card with four display ports at least and not cost as much or more as a lower end GeForce card.

Its nice to see Nvidia trying to beat AMD at these sort of things, however i think they are outpricing themselves ever so slightly, granted that yes, it powers 32 displays, however it does also cost nearly 50% more then that of the AMD equivalent...

That's a $600 card. I don't need the horsepower, just the display options.

 

I ended up going with a 950 on this one I'm ordering soon since the guy only has three displays.
