is there enough room to put a small surround sound system in this room

this is just a quick sketch in paint of what my computer room looks like. would there be a point to installing a small surround sound system in this room or should i just get a sound bar. also any reccomendations on surround systems or sound bars. i was looking at harman kardon  home theater 1500

I'm at least 90% sure 11 feet isn't a third of 13.5 feet like your drawing shows.

yes i know its not to scale i did it in a minute in paint

Yes but do not place the chair in the middle pf the room. There is no bass!

it wont be that far in the middle just dont want to strain my neck looking right up at a 48 inch screen
