What is the difference between Corsair AX and AXi?

There are many series in Corsair PSU, but is there any difference between the AX series and AXi series??

AXi series are digital and can take advantage of Corsair Link's software for various monitoring purposes such as PSU load, power consumption etc.

i means it has corsair link connectivity to change your PSU fan speed, rail configuration, see efficiency and power usage, all that stuff

You're spending more money on a software that you're barely going to use. I'd rather buy the AX series than the AXi, I trust corsair enough not to fuck up a $150USD PSU

Corsair Link, which is trash BTW and nobody should ever install it. Ever.

Anyway, I think the AX is Seasonic and the AXi is Flextronics, but don't quote me on that. They're both great PSUs though, just don't use Corsair Link. It's the best uninstalling exercise I've ever had. I use an AX PSU and it's great.

Corsair AX is Seasonic-made and AXi is Flextronics with Corsair Link software capabilities added. Both are well-made and perform well but are prone to coil whine.
