I picked up a GTEYE replacement brake spring for my G27 pedals. The difference it has made to my consistency is amazing. I am still in the adjustment phase with it so my lap times aren't dramatically faster yet (half a second), as i have not adjusted to the new breaking zones. But i am pretty sure they will come down once i figure my break points out.

Their deals this year are quite nice I'd say, probably in preparation for the Direct Drive wheelbase. I already have the CSL wheelbase so I'll probably try and get the Hub/GT Rim. They're also releasing a McLaren GT3 wheel which you can find on their Facebook:

They're tricky at first but once you work up to the full GRC/WRX cars its a hoot. Dirtfish and the supercar lites is a nice introduction and loads of fun.

Decided to take a break from league racing for a little while for various reasons. At least until the new year. 

 

Anyways, I had to jump on one night the other day and do at least one race from the current season in the Ginetta Juniors. Like previous seasons, we were doing double heats with reverse grid for the 2nd race. And here's what unfolded: 

 

Heat 1: Just watch the first few laps and... wait for it...

 

Heat 2: Great battle throughout the whole race, fighting for a podium. Good times. Can't wait to get back into it in the new year.

Crossover endurance event this Sunday between RSR and PRD. Will be driving LMP900 (the Audi).

 

I've had some bad luck in the past with these events. First one went well, finishing 5th overall in class (Stanceworks 1M at Bathurst). Second one, had 3rd overall in class (Sauber C9 at Monza) in the bag when my Oculus DK2 died just before the final pit stop. And during the last one, wasn't doing very well (LMP2 at LeMans), but while on the final stint, lightning struck about 100ft from the house and caused my connection to the server to drop.  

 

This time, I'm not using Oculus and it's winter, so there should be no lightning, lol. Hopefully all goes well.

Lol, not my favorite track either, but wasn't my decision. So far we have combined total of 48 drivers signed up between PRD and RSR. With this being a shorter track, there will be plenty of traffic to deal with almost constantly. I say; Bring it on!!!!  Will be a challenge, but also much less boring.
