I don't bash people who think PCs are better but accept consoles for what they are.

I accept Consoles for what they are. Weak shit that hinder Evolution and Demand of Games. That dont mean i hate Consolegamers in general. You Guys realy should get over it anytime soon.

there is nothing wrong with the true mentality behind PCMR. its all about properly educating people about WHY pc's are superior.  you see a lot of shitposting about "LOL fucking peasant consoles suck!! get a pc fagot! PCMR!!!"    these people are not a part of PCMR, they worse than peasants.    Most 'peasants' are simply ignorant due to lack of real knowledge, and only know what AAA developers and websites like ign and gamespot tell them. the goal is to educate them, and show them why they are wrong. not just belittle them for their choices. 

 

even console exclusive players, and people that dont own a pc, can still be considered a part of the PCMR. its just about knowing that pc's are better, and not being a twat about it.  if you prefer console, thats fine. they have their benefits(simplicity, couch gaming, media center, split screen). yes a pc can do all of it, and better.

 

people are entitled to their opinion, so long as they dont try to despute the facts.

I'm still kind of in the mindset where I see the phrase 'PC Gaming Master Race,' and think to myself, "Oh, that meme image people post all the time?" It's still a self-aware, self-deprecating joke to me. If it's not that, I don't know what it is.

 

That being said, I think the reasons PCs are better gaming platforms than consoles are self-evident, objective, and not debatable. Further I don't see any reason that should be seen as an "elitist" position. There's still reasons someone might want to play on a console instead (they want to play Bayonetta, their friends all play on Xbox, or they really, really want Call of Duty DLC a month early for some reason), and that's fine.

just people who are into it.  personally i love anime's like LuckyStar, stuff has a decent community.  but its a far jump from something like that, to something like Boku no Pico Ro-Kyu-Bu.   just there theres a huge jump between Ranma 1/2 and Bible Black, or even Sekerei

When it's used as a joke it's cool.

When people don't understand that it's a joke and take it seriously and look down on other people then yes it annoys me a bit.

This, and unfortunately it seems too many people take it seriously. Which is sad. But hey, it's the internet....

The term PC master race doesn't bother me as its true that PC has superior hardware and mostly gives a better playing experience, but what does bother me is when people look down on people for buying a console or asking questions about console.  All that matters is that they are having fun with the games, and if a console provides that for them then good for them.  I personally own a PS4 and Wii U and I've had lots of fun playing the exclusives for them and that's the whole reason I bought them.

Console People (not all, only those who fit!) should stop pretend that they are Victims. Look at PS vs Xbox Conversations. They piss on each other all the Time. Compared to that the #PCMR is harmless and civilized. And based on Facts, not on Dreams.

Its a funny thing to watch PCMR Videos who mock the Peasants a bit. Nobody should take it too serious though.

When people using consoles are being ignorant dickheads, i.e. saying consoles have better graphics, higher res, stuff like that, then yes I'm all for the PCMR mentality. Also Yahtzee... (no not the game).

 

Edit: Made me think of something that happened today. Couple of console people were arguing today about which was better, Xbone or PS4. The topic of paying for Live/Whatever the hell PS's thing is came up, so I interject with you don't have to pay for internet of PC, more as a joke, but whatever. Then the one PS4 kid says "You still have to pay for internet to access the internet, so it's not free." That was around the moment when I just left.
