i dont even care about specs anymore and neither should you. as we all saw 1gb ram is plenty for iOS. anyway android phone makers should take the time to optimise the software for their phones.but is always overlooked and all are competing in the specs race

My shitty Japanese Honda gets 30+ MPG and cost Less than 20k new. You're saying a Ferrari that sells for 20 times the price doesn't do better?

your honda doesnt do 190 mph, it doesnt take turns at 80 and it's not made of bling.

oh, and the samsung s5 isnt getting the marshmallow update any time soon. what the hell kind of support is that? the device is like a year old and isnt getting updates with the flagships? what a joke

Citation needed. The S3 got KitKat and the S4 got Lollipop, there's no reason for the S5 not to get Marshmellow.

Damn, when is google to step in on this? Not updating a barely 1year old flagship model equals to shooting yourself in the foot, it's stupid and doesnt make sense but is still done for some reason.

Wow awful battery size for that power hungry of a device also it is Lipo not Li-pro. Cool that is can record 2160p BUT REALLY APPLE! Can you change up the colors and not have all dinging looking colors? If you are going with gold make it look gold! Not some faded goldish hue of turd. Same with the 5c if there is a 6c. Pick normal colors people will like. Not baby vomit green, faded pink, and stupid baby blue. Do cool colors like dark red, neon green, black.

yes but google owns android and is able to change stuff like that with things like a minimal update support time for flag ship models like this.

Google is already on it's way to make it better by checking all apps since somewhere earlier this year, but there are still a few things that can be improved alot, altough it are mostly things that require google to tighten down android more, which would be bad for the manufactures like samsung.

on current phones not no, but with earlier said change google can force updates or restrict the usage of things like touchwiz for future phones, which is something they are working on IIRC, altough they want to keep the "freedom" android provides to the phonemakers at the same time.

no it wont, android is too dominant for any other os to work look at all the issues microsoft are having trying to get there mobile os to make a dent.

What happened to the google play edition phones? I thought the concept was pretty nice but I haven't heard a single gpe phone this year.

And it's gonna sell  like hot cakes, I am going to be disappointed in people that buy an overpriced product,which just tells them that the price is right as it is but at the same time not like there is another choice where you can point and say "here, this is just better".  apple swimming in money.jpg

 

iPhones are one of the most competitive products that Apple produces. They usually win in key specs (cpu, gpu) and as seen by the iPhone 6, when your competitors are weak, there's no real reason to double performance again.

idk i personally hope that apple will sometime release a iPhone Air, that is the same size as the iphone 5. I really liked the size of the iphone 5 because i have smaller hands and i could reach every inch of the phone.

From a realistic distance you don't, Linus has already said that in his iPhone 6 review. The pixel race is over except for VR applications.

If by realistic distance you mean 20 inches, that's not realistic at all. 10-11 inches, not sharp, i can see pixels in text, very easily, i don't even need to look for it, it's just there. And yes, pixel race is over, the iPhone just hasn't caught up yet, well I guess the 6 plus has, the 6 did not.

Yes arguing about it useless, bottom line is 300ppi isn't sharp enough and standard should be 400ppi like the iPhone 6 plus.

 first, 10 inches from the screen....are you blind?  i see my phone fine at around 20 inches half that distance is really close for a mobile.

second , i have the 6+ and the mrs has the 6 and the the difference side by side is non exsistant, even at 10 inchs except the 6 has the worst yellow colour cast i have seen. the fact is 300+ ppi is enough for most people and more than that is just showing off your e - peen.
