You can't, but you might be able to sweet talk a mod into changing it for you(they seem pretty firm on not changing peoples names unless if they absolutely have to though).

That's what I did, and mine got changed... Although I had a fairly legitimate reason :P

You woulden't need a nickname change if you'd use the same nickname on all your sites. (Just my opinion.)
