Why would they want to have Dutch subtitles? Any Dutch person can speak English

I've been subbing a youtube channel daily for over 2 months now

http://amara.org/

is a great site to use to sub youtube

edit: amara is a great site to fansub youtube. also if the content creator wants they can easily take the subtitle file and embed it to their video with 2 clicks

I'm not sure if this is live yet or not, but we have Chinese subtitles coming soon.

As other people have said in this thread, subbing isn't cheap, so I wouldn't expect to see many other languages anytime soon.

out of curiosity how much is subbing worth? there is money to be had in this?

and I just did this for free because I was a fan...

Does Rutte really not speak English?

I find that hard to believe...

Not very well, his English just sounds weird and is sometimes hard to understand..

Especially compared to other Dutch politicians' English

For deaf people, yes... I am tired of auto-generated, sometime sentence way off on Closed Caption than Linus says.. Did I notice Linus using sign language sometime, or is it just my imagination?
