I use the other gamemodes as warmup, or sometimes just hop onto casual for an hour or two and then play competitive. Also don't get cocky in VOIP or chat - everyone will just gang up against you and kick you (in casual mostly).

Stop playing.

Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)

Also, don't insult people - it's just generally rude ;). Also don't get mad when someone doesn't clutch a match or something like that.

Well, it's called competitive for a reason ;) But aside from that. I would just stay out of the way of people who pick on others, it might hurt to see it happening but it happens, to often to stop it really.

What is csgo?

CS:GO = Counter Strike: Global Offensive. It's one of the biggest (if not the biggest) FPS games in the world. With at least 6 million unique players playing it every month.

Practice, play the most popular maps and learn it inside out (Dust2, inferno, nuke).

Use your ears to determine the enemy's position (headphones are a must).

Watch other people on twitch.

Dont camp too much, always aim in chest/head height and WALK when needed.

I'm willing to bet half the "unique" players are hackers or smurfs.

Knowledge is power, guard it well.

Watch videos and streams regularily (WarOwl's videos, pros streaming) and try to play as much as possible. Maps that are made to train a specific aspect like spraying or aim shouldn't be overused because they give you no real advantage in an actual competetive game where game sense and positioning are far more important.

Also, csgoschooling.com .

A cool thing you can do is change crosshairs. I personally use a plain green dot. Google for how to do it.

Instead of typing out all the suggestions that come to mind, I made a CS:GO guide a while back, feel free to read through it https://docs.google.com/document/d/1GtaD1LoOFu28u5MdjpQKlfiLEjYuU2Rggjz1YEp6OQA/edit?usp=sharing
