This is tough because Just Cause has Avalanche Studios hasn't screwed up a release of JC. It's not like Batman where every game had a horrible release.

 

And the point is I'm bored and I like to troll the forums from time to time.

people selling unfinished games, (arkham knight, AC Unity)

devs being treated like shit, (konami)

preorder bonuses that are locked on the disk and only unlockable with a code, (capcom)

publishers selling the same game overandoverandover as new (bf 3/4/hardline)

early access,

content being cut out of games to make dlc, (EA)

a MAJOR games dev pretty much going stillborn because of gamer outcry, (half life 3)

games being sold with different preorder content at different retailers effectively making it impossible to own the whole game unless you get 4 copies, (forza)

games that are only a few years old getting "remastered" knowing we are going to buy the same thing twice (the last of us)

mobile games exploiting players

AAA games taking hints from mobile games exploiting people and incorporating things into their games (the crew)

Bait and switch promotional material (Aliens colonial marines)

DRM

 

This is just stuff off the top of my head, feel free to do some research into the issues on your own if you want to learn more Im not in the mood for a rant today.

Make no mistake though a preorder is doing nothing but harming the industry as a whole for nothing more then little preorder trickett bonuses.

Fair enough. This is what I needed to hear. JC2 was plagued with DLC for a hover craft and parachute for crying out loud. That is one serious concern I have JC3 :(

It's probably $5 cheaper than I'm going to find it on sale a month after release. Although I don't understand what they plan to do. Release date is December 1st..... How is that going to sell when everyone is looking for sales? Hmmmm???? I smell another fishy GTA V summer sale coming on. Bummer.

I'm officially off of pre ordering. That didn't take long.

Well Just Cause 2 doesn't work in Windows 10 I just found out so go for it.

Why the fhsisjnsu not? I'm literally installing win 10 right now and JC2 is one of my favorite games ever.

No multiplayer so no buy for me. JC2 was a good story line but the multiplayer mod was way more fun. Then again I have GTA V now then again there is no grappling hooks in GTA V. Whatever I will buy if multiplayer become a thing

Why the fhsisjnsu not? I'm literally installing win 10 right now and JC2 is one of my favorite games ever.

Well at least for me, it stops working just about as soon as it launches. According to the dump files "The thread tried to read or write to a virtual address it does not have access to" Maybe I can fix this by reinstalling JC2 or something but I just tried to play and it didn't work.

I'll scope it out soon. It's almost done installing. It's setting up my apps. Wtf I only use the weather app. How long can this possibly take

No problems here. I played it for a solid ten minutes, plus a few other games and they all worked normally. Maybe even a little smoother... but that's likely attributed to newer drivers from AMD than anything else at this point.
