Don't get that cpu. It uses a lot of power, produces a lot of heat and has horrible single threaded performance.

Since my i5 4440 (which is locked to 3.1GHz) beats the same CPU (FX 8320/FX 8350) at over 5.3GHz, I agree.

Unless you already have that CPUS, or got it for real cheap. Then I wouldn't recommend it.

You are better off with something like a 4690k or a Xeon 1231 v3. Which is priced similar to the 9590. But generally performs better.

Some of the boards that can power this monstrosity are, Asus Sabertooth 990FX, Asus Crosshair V Formula, Asrock 990FX Extreme 9, Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD5/7

 

 

 

 

But please thoroughly consider an Intel CPU if its meant for gaming... Or a FX 8350... (At least....)

Absolutely not. Get a proper CPU, one that doesn't just have integer cores and can actually beat an i3-2100 in single threads.
