Does anyone use Nvidia's Game Optimization?

t895

I tried it before and I personally prefer to change the settings on a game myself. What do you all think?

Yes I use it. Gets annoying adjusting settings all the time. Works very well, I could crank up the details a little more than what they put but its all good. I'll normally adjust it myself if there isn't much settings.

Nope. But it's because I like to customize more. I'd rather prefer higher textures and lower shadows, while someone might prefer to have shadows on high and so on. But the grand total is, I'm willing to sacrifice a few things for textures to be set to high. But that's only the case when I can't push graphics, which is on my laptop on a 820m. :)

I use it but I don't like how it perfers fullscreen over borderless window, but if they made the GPU then they probably know what it can handle.

Adjusting settings was one of my first experiences with PC gaming. I find it fun, for some reason. If I ever got to the point that I didn't want full control, I'd probably get a console.

I believe you can select whether you want borderless or not under the wrench thing. It gives me that option at least.

I personally don't use the optimization  because it thinks my 780Ti is the god of GPU's. I can not completely max out GTA V with a smooth frame rate even though  geforce experience tries to tell me I can.

No. GFE is a pretty horrible program.

Thanks for the wrench tip. Also why would Nvidia ever think that a 780ti is the best, when 760 is obviosly better. :P

Only for GTA5 so far, can't seem to have playable settings (Even when I bottom everything out) unless I use the optimized settings.

I do since I have a GTX660m in my laptop, this makes it easier so I'm not wasting time with trial and error for each game. The program seems to work fairly well for me.

I've been having a better experience since I uninstalled geforce experience, hated it, it would even reset my fps limiter at every reboot.

Since it always suggests using a lower than native resolution, no. I agree a single 970 isn't ideal for surround gaming, but it certainly is possible in most games I play.

No, I generally just go in game and set everything to max, then play.
