Who's upgrading to the 980 ti?

So I am going to upgrade to the 980 ti. I'm listing my 980 for sale tonight and try to get $500~ for it before they drop in price. Then I am selling some Air Jordan's for the rest of the funds. It should cost me almost nothing for the upgrade. Any of you upgrading as well?

Me, In a few weeks I get a cash bonus of $670, , I was originally going to go for the 970 to replace my 290x, I play many games, gameworks games included, I am after maximum performance, and am fed up with crippled performance on the 290x in such titles. (Which I play OFTEN)

The 290x will be going into my loungeroom PC, overkill but... thats fine

 

Gunna have to put a couple more pennies away...

I am waiting for a $450 card that can run games at high to max. settings at 4K at 60 FPS steady so it will be awhile before I buy a new video card.  I could change my mind though and do an upgrade but I will not do it at the price the 980 Ti is at.

Not me, my sli'd 780's are doing just fine on my 1080p/144hz monitor.

500 is steep for a used 980. You're looking at around 450 depending on what cooler it has

im selling both of my r9 290s to get a 980ti...soon I'm thinking of attempting to sell one to some uneducated smuck for $350-400 if that doesn't work ill sell both for 400 (200 each) and gather another 100-200 either way im getting a 980Ti hopefully with a smexy back plate too

its tempting, but i want to wait and see what amd will have to offer. I likely wont upgrade until nvidias pascal architecture is released.
