Adverts on Vessel?

So I thought that there would be no adverts on Vessel, and yet that is exactly what I saw when I went to watch Scrapyard Wars

 

I signed up during the free year period at the start, no clue what is going on

There is going to be adverts isn't there nearly every body there got it for free so they need to make there money somewhere.

An AMD cpu has no place in a solely gaming build, end of.

Never had an ad on Vessel, but I do have ABP on, because I never bothered to turn it off there (because I didn't expect any commercials anyways)

I've had a number of these, I seem to get one every 5 videos or so, with the longest being about 6 seconds. I'm not impressed when it's sold as being ad free, but then again when so many people have signed up to a free account it's not surprising they need to make some money back.

They got to make money somehow.

Nvidia is to Dr Dre Beets as AMD is to KFC.

One makes you broke, the other you can get more of and have a midnight snack from the fridge when hungry again. Once you go Nvidia, you go broked, turn into an Elitist, or get the incorrect amount of VRAM.

tbh the adverts did not bother me but I assumed I would never see them cause I have a VIP membership, or premium/paid given to me (like a lot of others) for a year for free. I assumed, and tbh I'm sure it was stated, that the membership we were getting was to simulate what we would get with a paid service for free for the year to see what it was like

 

The point of Vessel is that its a paid service that means no adverts, or at least that is what I understood. If not, what is the point? Cause they never marketed them selves as a straight up Youtube copy but an alternative for those who do not want adverts and want to support creators... tbh I'm just confused about the whole thing now

The one year trial is a trial of the Vessel experience. Regardless of length. So what I'm assuming is that after the trial is done, these small ads will still be experienced. Now, the ads are not that crazy. They are just unexpected, since it's a paid service. Vessel including these small ads are definitely up to them. I can just see a lot of people becoming butt hurt, because a pay wall usually deals with ads popping up as well. So you could say the butt hurt is justified.
