I'm curious of how you prefer to study?

(I tend to love getting indepth and trying things myself instead of constant reading and reading..)

I swear I'm not having trouble... haha

I personally either love:

1) Writing and writing, re-writing and try to write again from memory...

2) Explaining or Teaching to a friend

3) Try explaining/teaching to my partner and make things extremely simple for her to understand..

I'm going to put a link to my PC specs which actually aren't my PC specs and I cry myself to sleep everyday so I can have these PC specs but I can't afford these PC specs so PC specs PC specs PC specs PC specs PC specs PC specs.

For what class? History? Constitution? Law process? English?

It depends on the class, but it's usually like this (when i actually study, which is rare).

Read and read and try to remember as much from that reading. Read once or twice before going to bed. After waking up, read again. Read again before school and read once in school. Years and names are a problem (history).

depends on the subject.

for things like maths just doing questions and questions works for me.

for It coding and coding some more helps

i also stuck flash cards to the bezel of my monitors it helped a ton.

I'm a straight A student if that makes any difference well with the exception of last year when i got addicted to this forum and revised less then i should have and paid a very dear price.

A nice Starbucks Mocha or Java Chip Frappuccino and Procrastination - then hope for the best.

Another way of putting it. Studying? What's that?

Here's how I study, first I leave my books at school. Then when I get home I do whatever the hell I feel like until my parents come home. I tell them I studied then continue to "study" till late at night. The next day I wake up early and "study" some more. Then I go to school and ace it 80% of the time.

24 fps for that "cinematic" feel

After a couple weeks of behavioral sciences at my school I can easily conclude my parents need to grow up.

Getting distracted by the LTT forums and not.

Just remember: Random people on the internet ALWAYS know more than professionals, when someone's lying, AND can predict the future.

heh funny how many high school kids say they don't study which you know whatever, but trust me if you go to collage it WILL backfire, in collage you cant do that, most professors are wise to how people try to just get by in high school and they will totally crush you (my first semester was a nightmare, I was totally unprepared)

I should of also mentioned at I am at college...

haha

ah a fellow network admin student, done any work in unix ?  what languages have you worked in ?

anyways my study habit are after seven years, finally this, I don't bother writing notes, my hand writing is so bad that I most of time I cant read what I wrote. instead I type everything, I use  Google drive (or one drive when it actually works) to store everything so I can access them on my desktop or laptop, for online lectures I use the snipping tool to take key words or snapshots of important notes to remember, I also download all available material and I use one note to take notes.

I also read the text before lectures, it really does help.

I hope my method of studying is useful to someone, it took me until I was 25 to finally find a way were I could study effectivly

1) makes my own simplified note (handwrite)
2) even if there's a powerpoint slide, repeat no.1
3) for math/calculation, do exercises (math is fun, never got bored solving em)

4) low volume bgm, preferably soothing and/or motivating bgm
5) don't understand stuff? no problem, ask your m8 or better yet just meet the teacher/prof
6) have plain water nearby (some loves coffee but i just prefer plain water)

Coming from a secondary high school education and going into University or college is something you cannot prepare for. You'll take advantage of the amount of freedom which is granted to you but trust me it will come back and haunt you. A word of advice don't take your freedom for granted and use that free time to just revise over some work,I'm speaking as a first Year Law student and I always ask myself what the F... did I get myself into. But to answer your question my method of study is just read and re-read although I need to change that because my marks for first semester are not looking very good.
