Anyone seeing Mad Max: Fury Road?

Anyone seeing Mad Max: Fury Road? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mad_Max:_Fury_Road. Looks really good and has a 100% on rottentomatoes.

Mad Max: Fury Road has received critical acclaim. Rotten Tomatoes currently gives the film a 100% rating based on 31 reviews.

Source http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/mad_max_fury_road/

Robbie Collin of The Daily Telegraph gave the film a full five stars and praised the film for its acting, screenplay, choreography, stunts, humor and direction calling the film a "spiritual sequel" and an "eruption of craziness. "Writing for The Guardian and awarding the film four stars out of five, Peter Bradshaw remarked, "Extravagantly deranged, ear-splittingly cacophonous, and entirely over the top, George Miller has revived his Mad Max punk-western franchise as a bizarre convoy chase action-thriller in the post-apocalyptic desert." Scott Mendelson of Forbes gave the film 10/10 and opined, "Mad Max: Fury Road is a remarkable and glorious motion picture, not just one of the great action movies of our time but also a great and timely film, period."

Well to be fair Mad Max came out way before Borderlands was even thought of.

damn! that sounds nice, now im really excited about it. just looked up some info and it seems belgium is the first on the 13th for premiere/release, too bad i have school that day, otherwise i would have made the trip :P

the music should be fine too btw, that's produced by junkie XL, a dutch DJ who isn't the best, but neither the worst.

okey i just saw the movie, here is a small run down without real spoilers.

The opening scene is good and gives quite the hope that the movie will bring alot of murder and explosions.

the plot idea unfolds pretty quickly, within the first 5-15mins you are able to guess the going of courses if you looked at the movie poster.

Despite having a very intersting start the movie becomes pretty quickly more like the general typ of action movie.

The movie name "mad max: road fury" fit's perfectly, altough the "mad" part is pretty hard to find since max comes over as the typical action movie (anti)hero that is forced to help everybody for it's own survival.

the envoirment they set for this movie is up to a certain level pretty realistic and seems possible to happen, the stunts/effects in this movie are pretty realistic for a movie.

The music fits the envoirment perfectly, altough sometimes with on screen instruments the sound seems a bit off, this might because of the fact i watched the 3D version(on 2D it might fit better)

the 3D which i just mentoined get's used pretty good for scenery shots and a few effects, which most movies forget.

my opinion:

a movie worth to see in the cinema, altough it's not a movie which i personally would get for my movie collection, maybe when it's on sale or pretty cheap.

one of the few movies though which has the right to use 3D like it should be used, scenery shots with infinite focus on them is just lovely on a big screen this way.

Seems like a good popcorn movie, loads of explosions and a simple plot.

you will be surprised, it's what i hoped it to be, but it's a bit more then that.

Doubtful unless I hear that it's actually good.

it's worth to see it in cinema, at home? hmm maybe if you have a good 3D screen/projector

Thank you thank you thank you! Im sooooo psyched! :P

I know it came out before Borderlands, but look at the trailer for the movie, and its very similar.

I going to watch it...but I seem to disagree with the world lately....I really disliked Avengers 2 for instance.

I was going to see it in 3d because it seems to be the only way they are really showing it here. Real 3d.

3D is really worth it compared to a few other recent movies (looking at you age of ultron!) so far i saw less then 5 movies where 3D is used in a goodway, would love to try Imax with this movie though.

Yeah not many movies use 3d like Avatar did.

Yes but from what I read the movie is amazing. The trailer does not do it justice which is a good thing. I don't like it when trailers give away the best parts of a movie.
