Am I the only one who hates Smurfs? [CS:GO]

I have a pure hatred for smurfs as the matchmaking sucks enough without people getting placed in lower ranks just to have more fun.

 

It seems they would rather ruin an entire teams day just to improve their own?

 

WHY CREATE A SMURF THERE IS A RANKING SYSTEM FOR A REASON

Because people are dicks. I started out Silver Elite Master, got ranked a few days ago, first comp game I play, other teams are like DMGs I think, my team is pretty much all SEMs or Gold Novas, then I got deranked to Silver Elite... I got pissed

Everytime I get in a game where my team goes 16-4~ or vice versa I want to kill every smurf who ruined the matchmaking

Never really minded them. Yeah, you get owned, but it helps you to get better in some ways. Also, if you have ever done it you might know it's pretty funny to do.

How can you tell someone who was ranked lower to jump up all the ranks because "tried just getting better?"

Going 0-16 only makes me want to uninstall the game because I think I suck so bad isn't a way of getting better.

I guess the goal is to feel better about yourself by winning, even though its against like silvers and mostly low ranks, so its not much of a bragging right. If I was silver 3 and won against silver 3s, I would feel great. But if I'm a master guardian and win against silver 3s, then I wouldn't feel so good. I mean, yeah we won, but it was against a crappy team (no offense silvers) while I'm sitting top fragger with like 35-5. Its pretty dumb in my opinion, but if they're unranks, then it usually doesn't bother me. Some people just try to go for a higher placement rank to start from. I don't mind smurfs if there's only one or two on a team, but a whole smurf team is too broken to play against when they are so much better than you are. Either way, smurfs are annoying, but I don't let them ruin the game for me.

What if the best player in the world had just started CS:GO 2 days ago, and was a really low rank - but utterly killed when they played?

How can you tell somebody ranked higher than you is better than you? what if somebody was an amazing player but never tried competitive matches, and in their first match single handedly won the game

I guess it doesn't bother me or make me angry enough to care, so you lost to a  better player, should give your more incentive to practice and improve so one day you can beat them

It has been done to me dozens if not hundreds of times more than I have actually done it myself. Never bothered me, I've been playing competitive stuff since I was a little kid, with bigger boys stomping me; and there is always a way to get better. Getting smurfed can kill the fun, but it won't discourage me or make me loose confidence, as I understand player skill comes in tiers.
