EA have announced that they are shutting down NFSW as of July 15th.

 

NFSW is a free, open world game, with lots of customizable cars and is just generally a blast to mess around on.

 

I know it will no longer make money for EA, but we are asking for them to just keep some servers open, for the people who still play.

 

Even if you don't care, sign the petition, it takes 2 minutes, max, and will help the cause, just this week I signed a petition to have paid mods removed (or changed) in steam, and valve complied!

EA Isn't stupid. It didn't work with Dawngate, why would it work with this?

 

They're planning something, they wouldn't do this for funzies.

 

Perhaps Unground: Need for Speed is coming.

I am a fan of NFS since the first game

 

but there are better racing games out there

 

and the game is rather dated as it use Most Wanted and Carbon worlds

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

I downloaded it, tried to play it, servers dont work, its a pos game. 

PC: Corsair C70 Arctic, FX 9370, Corsair H80i, Gigabyte 990fxa-ud3, Corsair Vengence 16gb, Palit JetStream GTX 970, OCZ Vertex 4 128gb and Western Digital Blue 1Tb + 500gb, Antec Gamer 520w

Wish I would've known about this before now. I like NFS. 

The only reason why I liked Carbon over Most Wanted was because of the Mountain Run/Canyon Duel aka Initial D

sad but true this petition is not gonna change nothing evrytime someone has tried to change something that ea did whit petition it did not work ea is just a really shitty company overall and does not deserve some of the dev groups they have

the game is bad

even worse than Drift City which comes from 2007

 

game texture is quite dull and rather empty world, and game mechanics revolve around micro-transactions.

graphics are just bit better from Underground 2

 

I'm not surprised they close the game, but I am actually impress they keep free 2 play games for this long.

5 years on internet that's like 25 years on real life.

The community was pretty shit, the missions where you had to work in team to get out from cops were the worst, everyone was on his own and here comes this douchebag 12yo with a lamborghini at lvl 3
