Best free programs to put on windows fresh install

So...

Things went bad and I'm not quite financially there for my new build but in a last ditch effort for even basic computing power, I did it. I wiped my old laptop and put windows 10 on it.

Now however I am unsure of what programs To put on it.

I am not sure what software I need so am wanting advice for all types of software!

It is not very powerful and I'm reckoning it will only be able to handle minecraft games wise so no GTA a for me :(

That gives you an idea of its computing ability.

A priority for me is not having ad and spy ware and viruses in general as that is what killed it before the clean install. However I want free software ideally.

Also if anyone can recommend to me good 2D animation software for free and also free video editing software.

Antivirus: I'd recommend avast (Scans and general protection) + malwarebytes anti-malware (Scans)

 

My favorite text editor is Notepad++ by far, though for things like essays and shit MS Word is the way to go. (or a free alternative)

Gyazo (or alternative) (It's a select area to screenshot, then directly uploads, opens in a new tab and gives you a link you can share)

Use google docs, sheets, ... it's free if you have a gmail account.
