YouTube is just not working properly

Hello guys, first things first, I tested my Wifi speed on various sites, I'm well over 300mbits, my components aren't the newest, but my 3070ti with 16 GB ddr4 Ram should handle it fine.
Now to the problem.
I have always had problems with YouTube, after clicking on around five videos on one Tab, I had to close the one and open a new one, otherwise the videos lagged over 20 secs...
But now another Problem emerged, 4k videos just don't want to load, I've never had issues with 4k, but if I click on a 4K video now, it always auto sets to 720p and below, and if I try to get it on 4K i have over half a minute of buffering with more buffering all trough the video.
I am really hoping that someone had that issue and solved it or someone really smart reads this and knows what to do...

additional infos: Windows vers. 23H2, newest Crome, I have set all my power settings to max performance, I have a Lan connection, i have no lags in games, discord, anything other than YT, all Drivers up to date,
I have the following Crome extensions: Adobe Acrobat, Idc about Cookies, SocialBlade, uBlockOrigin, Google Dictionary

Thanks in advance:)

Try disabling your ad blocker or switching to Firefox web browser. See if that fixes the issue. Sounds like Youtube's tactics to stop people from using ad blockers.

But I have YouTube Premium, shouldnt that be irrelevant?

Some adblockers slow down the page, that'll be regardless of you having YT premium, but since you do there's no point having the adblocker enabled for youtube so make sure to disable it there.

Do you have the h264ify extension? It's a longshot assuming you even have that but I've had major problems with YouTube while that extension was enabled.
