Simple, Easy to use Photo Editing Software

noc
Go to solution Solved by Coombzy,

Basic and free there is Paint.net

http://www.getpaint.net/

or GIMP

http://www.gimp.org/

they are both easy to use and doesn't take long to pick up how they work

Hey everyone,

Can someone here recommend Photo Editing Software that easy to use? My girlfriend is not very patient with Technology, and she needs something that she can use to make basic changes to photos, like applying a filter to make it look vintage, or changing the brightness etc. Just basic filters that you can apply. The word "instagram" pooped up, but I don't think that's what she wants.

Any suggestions? Thanks!

Thanks. I have tried to show her GIMP, but I'm looking for something more simpler to use for her. I was thinking some software with pre-defined settings or filters that will just change the look of the photo. I'll have a closer look at Paint.net as well

*facepalms* ... That will teach me for not reading before I post stuff, lol.

Thanks for you suggestion. I have actually discovered something called "FX Foundary" that GIMP uses just as filters. I might try and convince her to go back to GIMP. Thanks to Coombzy for suggesting GIMP as well.

Lightroom 5 is really easy to use, and comes with a bunch of presets, which are basically like instagram filters.
