GTA 5 pre-order

I got some laying around money and i was thinking of pre-ordering gta 5 for pc since you get in game money but i would like to know if its worth it to pre-order or if i should wait so that it doesn't turn into an unoptimized game like assassins creed unity?

Don't bother. Make them earn your money. There is no availability issues with the PC, and it won't cost more on launch day (or later) than it will now.

Wait for it. While the delays and the team working on makes me think it will be well done, there is still a chance it will run like crap. Ingame money can be made very quickly, it's not worth the pre-order risk.

You waiting or not will have no effect on the developer's ability to make a proper PC port.

You should still wait on reviews so your money isn't gone if the game turns out to be bad.

Well, 2 weeks in it'll be $50 on steam, and there'll be bugs at launch to exploit money anyway. So just wait, it's not worth whatever it is at pre-order

My stance is not a popular one but i pre-ordered because there is no way in hell im not buying this game so why not get some extra in-game cash to get started generally speaking i don't recommend pre-ordering games but a lot of people have played it to death on consoles and it looks amazing and got smashing reviews.

Same, I played it on PS3 and it was amazing. I might just wait until the Summer Sale and get it then at 25% off.

You do get a decent amount of in-game dough if you preorder, and I'm pretty confident they didn't break GTA V between their initial release and now. Many folks are starting to avoid preordering thanks to the plethora or poor releases last year, but I believe Rockstar has this game running solid. Just beware EA and Ubisoft for now.

I've seen a lot of people say this lately in relation to several games, i don't think i would ever hinge my purchase on the say so of one guy, honestly i have never seen one of his videos so i don't know what the quality is like but surely it cant be that good that people are willing to follow his word like good little minions. 

 

I like to hear from multiple sources and maybe watch a little game play footage before deciding on games.

I say wait for it to make sure there are no bugs etc. It's not worth the pre-ordering this game. Probably go on sale for the steam summer sale.

I'm a bit of a GTA nut, so I pre-ordered it willingly. The fact that it's been pushed back a few times doesn't bother me, and as long as it's just slightly better optimized than IV, I'm a happy camper.

I've already pre-ordered the game. I don't care what other people say, its my money. Do what you want, but since its is being ported over to PC by the Max Payne guys, I think it will work out fine. I feel like Rockstar has learned from their mistakes such as GTA IV.

If u wait one or two days after game release, u will find it cheaper on some sites

But if u are dying to play the game from 1st day then pre-order. In-game money is nice but I think it steals some playtime which u would have to go through in order to earn that money.

I am going to play from day one but i haven't pre-ordered yet as they could easily move the release date again.

I preordered when tax money came in. I'm not too worried about it being a broken port or anything given Rockstar's track record (with the exception of, like, Manhunt or something). I'm not really opposed to preorders, more early access that rubs me the wrong way.
