Worst Tech mistake you have ever made?

Mitch

ohuh if u got insurance throught them you can say it was stolen and you should get a new huehue

Yeah but I dont have insurence. Even if i did, they'd just give me a refurb phone. I wish, for the love of god, someone would find a bootloader unlock exploit so I can load Cyanogen on the dang thing..rooting doesn't do much for me.

I am whatever I am.

Not for the XT907, since the last update or two the bootloader has been locked and theres isn't really an easy way to bypass or unlock it. They have root methods, but even some of those are broken since updates. I seem to be cursed when i buy andriod devices.. My samsung galaxy player has nothing, my phone is locked, my kindle fire hd is locked, and none of them have any unlock methods.. FML

I am whatever I am.

Steelseries Rival. Maybe it's just me, but I feel like that mouse was not made to be used by the human hand. I went back to my Sensei after like a day, and it's in awful condition.

My crappy 20" 900p monitor (Acer P206HL Bbd i think)... a complete impulse buy when it was $79 at best buy and I needed a monitor. The colors are HORRIBLE and the pixel densities make me want to die but I guess it still turns on so nothing to complain about. : P

Also my Nexus 7; i bought the 2012 version when the 2013 version was going to be released like a week later

Bought a self-powered USB hub, never used it.

Had my Athlon x2 on a tray and I turned to get a screw and the CPU fell down and landed on a bar on the chair. Most of the pins we're gone.

accidently BENDING PINS, ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I did this too, was building a mates computer for him and managed to bend quite a few along one edge.  Had to swap out the cpu from mine to use on his rig and then carefully straighten all of the pins on the cpu.  Thankfully it worked in the end but it was a real panic when I realised what happened.
