Worst Tech mistake you have ever made?

Mitch

Top Gear America is shit.

Sadly, I agree. Clarkson is the life of Top Gear. Top Gear isn't Top Gear without Clarkson.

Buying a AMD FX series chip over the intel i7 4770k. AMD is way to hot and is just overall not a good buy.

But Hamster and Captain Slow are great as well, they make the show. I'll be sad when they retire, that have plenty of money so they don't need to go on with the show much longer. I'm gong to Top Gear Live this year though!

I don't know what I do wrong but usually I mess up HDD's big time when reinstalling windows. Like kill the drive mess up. I've done it a few times to drives that were working perfectly for a long time.

Also when I was a kid I decided to clean the dust out of my PC. Took everything apart but forgot the motherboard standoffs. Fair to say I almost had a foul smell when I switched on the PSU after reassembly...

BANG the PSU shorted out and the entire computer fried. Back in the days of Athlon x64 800MHz hahaha I was only like 12

Over the weekend while I was participating in a group discussion over skype for a university project, I knocked over a glass of bourbon onto my FiiO E17 headphone amp, and it started spazzing out.
It's battery completely depleted, I put it in the boiler room, and then the next day it's seemingly fine.

Personally,(fine you can hate me for this), but upgrading to Windows 7 from Vista. Personally, to my taste, Vista looked better and performed better than 7.

what kind of black magic is this?! :o  did microsoft send you a specially patched copy of vista? I had several PCs and notebooks with Vista around the house at the time, they where all taking turns freezing and crashing 24/7.

I installed them CORRECTLY. FYI, I had 3 systems running Vista since its release in '07. Still works great without a single crash since.

Well then hats off to you, sir  :D I still wouldn't consider it one of the "good" windows releases, but if you got it working, that's great.

Yeah, I mean, I don't srsly get why so many people hate Vista. It was a great little OS, until 7 took over and mashed it into bits. The day Vista was overtaken by 7 was the day I felt like extirpating myself.
