my motherboard didn't seem to line up with my motherboard i/o shield(took forever to get in) and i bent back all the little arms that stick out

 

i also lost about 1/3 of the standoff screws

In year 8 my teacher was trying to show something on the projector and his laptop kept freezing (by the way he thinks he knows about computers) and not loading things and the first thing i'd do was to restart it but he got up and came back with a magnet and stuck it under his computer saying to us that the magnet should make the hard-drive spin faster therefore making the computer faster. Well the dumbass corrupted his hard-drive, lost all of his work & everything and the techs had to install mac os x again. 

 

Probably one of the funniest things I've seen people who with computers.

i bought a pair of sennheiser hd 202's because my old hd 428's didn't work properly(think a driver is broken) without knowing they were supra-aural and i hated them so i bought another pair of hd 428's

My friend thought thermal paste on a CPU was just gunk, so he thought he'd wipe it off and see if his computer would work like that.

I'm about to build a pc like that because the micro atx gigabyte z97 board is the cheapest dual sli board I can find.

Yesterday I had to drop off a sata cable to my friend for his new hard drive that just came in. One of those guys that kind of knows computers, but claims he knows more.

An hour later he calls me saying it's not working. On the phone for half an hour trying to troubleshoot with him, when I jokingly ask "did you plug the power cable in...?" He goes silent, and just says "shit...I'll call you back"

i love AMD, in fact if you look at my system you can see that i use nothing made by either of those companies. it's just not sensible to say AMD is better because it just isn't.

Better in regards to what exactly? You have to be specific. You can't say Intel and Nvidia is better than AMD in every way because they aren't.

 

Depending on the specific parts in question, AMD actually does offer better products, performance and value at certain price points. Especially if you're talking about their GPUs.

Um, the power supply was on the outside, and the motherboard was just jammed in there. Luckily, the PC died a few weeks afterward, due to a short. I never liked the PC. My cousin gave it to me. My 7 year old cousin.
