Google Releases Android Lollipop 5.1

Nope, not seeing it

U haven't even read the god damn post ! So go do that and then comment.

I think word "releases" was incorrectly (click-bait) used. It should be "announces" as it doesn't imply the release if a product.

So I forgive you for your comment :)

I know right! I flashed 5.0.2 onto my Z2 last month and I can honestly vouch that Project Butter has come a long way. I was looking into CM Sirius since January, since I had no faith that the Sony devs would be able to meet their quoted Q1 Lollipop release; the only thing that held me back was the lack of bluetooth and camera functionality. Come Feb when the nightlys fixed that, and I jumped ASAP. Only grips thus far are the loss of Sony's Camera and Walkman apps; one of few OEM features I really liked :(

And here's me wishing that I had a Nexus 6 so I can take the update now... But alas, I'll just have to wait until ROM makers for my G3 come out with an Android 5.1 ROM.

We need root for stock Lollipop on the G3... I had to downgrade to KK for root access  :(

It's not a bug, it's an undocumented feature!

It would definitely make things more convenient, but downgrading (at least on the G3) isn't difficult to do at all. It's just time consuming. I'm with you though.

Try Google Camera for your optics; seems to be working fairly well though the HDR is different from Sony's software suite and you lose the burst functionality (CM's Focal is an option but I've never been a fan). As for playback, try Mobo Player or Google Photos.

all i wanna know is to see if they fixed the memory leak problems, that shit cut my battery life like 20 percent, other that that new features are welcome especially device protection

Yeah but a Moto G has 1 GB, also how does that decrease battery life 0_o

I have the 5.1 installed from Google's factory image, and... my 32GB Nexus 5 dropped down to 12.5GB what.

Reinstalling but if this is a real issue wtf.

if you have to insist you think for yourself, i'm not going to believe you.

I may sound like  fanboi here but the my ex daily driver (Lumia 520) already had HD voice, boy that sounds so clear and loud.... And dual sim ? Unless this gives me dual umts support on my Moto G 2014 (and it won't), I will not call this a new feature. HD voice I suspect it won't come as well because it's too advanced for my budget phone!
