Most expensive is probably my PSU/GPU. They were both around $250.

 

Most appreciated is hands down my cooler. It stops my CPU from catching fire after all!

i bought a chromebook..... not really happy with it anymore but ey it gets me through the day

Hmmm I think my 280 was the most expensive (216eur). But the thing that I just love seeing and useing is my quickfire tk, ultrawide monitor and the enthoo pro. Just looking at it, knowing I myself built the system alone makes me feel manly and puts a little smile on my face

My most expensive PC related stuff that I have bought is probably my two monitors. A pair of Dell U2711. One bought new, second bought second hand.

 

As for most appreciated? I want to say my keyboard. Ducky Mini V1.

I don't like my 970 <_<

 

I love my i7 though, it just doesn't give a ****. 20 tabs, Gimp, and WarThunder on ultra? Runs fine with no noticeable lag.

Quick thoughts on system: I7 is extremely quick and I'm glad I spent the extra for hyper-threading. I regret my decision to get the GTX 970, it has horrible coil whine. There isn't any excuse for this terrible whine I and others are having. I HIGHLY recommend a 144hz monitor. Future Improvements/upgrades: Rubber fan mounts, basic speakers, more ram (for a total of 16gb), replace GPU.

144hz is love. 144hz is life. I like to submit unfinished posts then do about 20 edits. I like the Night Theme too.

my i7-4790k, its a prosessor that I max out everyday video editing and I can stay with till it dies because I see no component being bottle-necked by it. Moving from the AMD Phenom ii x6 to this has made my life so much better even if its a loss of 2 cores, i still have 2 more threads. I have cut my rendering times almost in half and my computer feels so much more snappier.

 

Along with that, I had to buy a new MoBo so with my i7-4790k, my Asus z97 pro Mobo. It cost me almost $500 (both CPU and MoBo) to upgrade but I'm loving it everyday.

My most appreciated and expensive component...

 

It's a close tie between my CPU and GPU, a Core i7-2600K overclocked to 4.7GHz and my Asus 7970. Both were ¥22,000 (~$200) and they are freaking BEAUTIFUL now that they have some things to flex their muscles on!
