What monitor do you have?

It's 1080p

It's possible that the resolution set is lower than the monitor supports tho.

2560x1440 = 1440p. 1920x1080 = 1080p. So you have a 1080p monitor

UHD = 3840x2160 (2 times 1920x1080, but it fits 4 1080p panels)

4K = 4096x2160

5K = 5120x2880 (2 times 1440p and it fits 4 1440p screens inside of it)

Hey mate, we all started off at the bottom. If we couldn't learn more about our computers, it wouldn't be as fun :-).

Never feel ashamed for asking something, and if you really are, you can always PM me or anyone else here, people try their best to help others!

Here's the trick you need to remember. 1080, 720, 1440 stands for the horizontal size, thus the second number of Y x Z

1280x720 = 720p, 1920x1080 = 1080p...

Basic guide to CPU's!

If I said I were 14, you would call me a kid. If I say 70, you’ll entitle me too old. If I say 20 you say I’m inexperienced and if I say 40 than I'm too boring.

True 4k is 4096x2160 (Full 16:10 aspect ratio)

But UHD is 3840x2160 (16:9 aspect ratio)  :D

LOL how is it going to be 16:10 if it is WIDER than UHD?

xD

4096x2160 is 19:10

1080p monitor. Usually it refers to last number at end example 1280x720 would be 720p unless were talking about 4k which is 3840x2160 commercial use. True 4k is 4096x2160 which refers to the veritcal length.
