People Who Are Too Focused On Gaming

reapersivan

You don't always need to go buy food and drinks. Take a drink from home. Don't waste money like that. Well it's nice to be outside and focus on socializing than being in a computer screen at times.

But i socialize on fb and ts with ppl around the world, while gaming. I'm sorry but where is your point? Society needs to adopt that computers can be used in good ways too. Ofc you need real ppl too but I see computers as a tool, nothing bad about that.

there is nobody i would want to socialise with outside, unless it a car meet or going to a mates house. walking around sitting outside in a environment that isn't temperature controlled by me is just annoying.

Yes I know I should not judge but I want to help them be more diverse, meet new people, maybe stop be immature and stuff. Any adult would believe that. A parent would rather have their child be involved and be with friends without doing anythong unsafe like drugs. Lots of adults/parents do not like it when teens spend all day playing games, not doing any sport or whatsoever and after they are done playing use their phone. We all need to socialize for a while in a healthy active way instead of facing a screen all day

A lot of parents don't have a clue what their children are actually doing. Although some of the CoD generation is just shouting swear words at their TV, most people who play an "excessive" amount of computer games are playing with friends, socializing and having fun. If they're not straight up unhealthy there is no reason why they should be standing on a football field instead of sitting in front of their PCs. I do agree that physical presence is a lot more fulfilling, but that is my opinion, mostly not theirs. It will come in a year or two I would say. It is inevitable that they will start looking at the ladies, and if it doesn't there is no reason to force it.

You are the moral judge that says what is better?

I spend all day on the screen , im a programmer I amd a gamer.

Now what.

Have you ever thought some people are simply too awkward , painfully awkard to get out of their shell.

Do you know what SAD is?

Not everyone is the same at the end of the day.

The world isnt all black and white , you must look at multiple shades of grey that make all of us.

No one can be the definitive moral judge .

No one is born the same or under the same circumstances.

Yes, I am also very awkward to, I have known my friend for 6 years. He is not shy, at all. He will act immature, be loud, goof off, and talk to everyone. He knows at least 200 people in the whole school

they can be focused on anything they want, I like it when people are not sex obsessed because it means i can have a tiny bit more faith in humanity

Everyone makes it seem like I, or some of my friends are SEX addicts who do nothing but talk all sexual related things. Well... we might make up a few inappropriate jokes to make something funny at times,

It's totally provocative, but I don't care because girls who show off their "assets" as they were, to me aren't worth hanging around. I've never called a girl "hot" before, not even passively. I'm a practically-minded person. I've hung out with girls who are really stoic, level-headed and down to earth. Modest, too. Trousers, T-shirts and hoodies. Some of the coolest friends I've had.

Girls who dress provocatively to attract attention are a huge chunk of the reason why I think American schools need to adopt uniforms. It's such a non-issue here in Japan that at school everyone changes into their PE kit in the same classroom. It's probably more culture-driven than just having a uniform, but come on.

It's probably really hypocritical of me to say, but a girl not having a large chest to me is just so, so much more practical. Don't think that means that my opinion of girls is affected by that, no way in hell is it ever affected by it. I judge people by character, if I judge them at all.

Sorry to any girls on here that I just weirded out or put off on here. That wasn't my intention.

Uniform schools exist in Canada, most Catholic schools have uniforms. (When Canada was founded, Quebec (France) Caused these to exist to join the confederacy)

Sad thing here is the uniforms are just to make the schools shit tons of money, like they charge 30 dollars for a tee shirt or some shit like that. (I could be wrong but some schools seriously are that expensive) Thats why im going to try to get into a high school without uniforms.

But yeah I see a reason behind uniforms, but I say they should soften up on making them exact stuff. Like have a school color theme and you just have to wear like a certain color shirt and pants and sweater or something just so its not a pain in the ass and a money making scam, and besides it would probably work for the most part with the revealing clothing stuff.

I dont think I have ever heard of a uniform school in America though. They probably exist just I have never heard of one.

Canada > USA. No offence to Americans; Move here for a year and you will want to stay here instead of America probably.

PSA: Anyone who takes the time to publicly state how much they do not care about what others think, actually does care about what others think.  That is to say that everyone at some point or another in their lives weighed the opinions of their peers to make a value judgment about themselves.

I'm kind of like that. Mostly because I've got social anxiety disorder, and I prefer to avoid human contact. I like my solitude.

I have no signature. There is nothing to see here. Move along.

Here we have exact school uniforms, but technically there is no dress code. You can wear whatever you want. Black lace panties, skinny jeans, hot pants or nothing at all! In fact, you can go stark naked, if you like, that's totally fine.

Just as long as your uniform is on top of it.

and it's pretty lenient between genders. If the girls want to wear neckties instead of bows (ties are cheaper) then they can do that. Most do. If the girls want to wear trousers instead of skirts (because it's freezing), they can wear trousers. If you have a plain sweater that's a school colour, you can wear the sweater. They don't go after you that much here. Everyone messes around all the time, most days the class is a racket (yay for noise cancelling earphones), but the teachers literally give zero cares about it. A lot of the time you'll see people sleeping in class. That's totally okay with like 97% of the teachers, they still get paid even the entire class is asleep. In the US, everyone was dead scared of sleeping, because the teachers flip shit if you fall asleep, because it hurts what little pride they have as teachers, as the role of a teacher in the US is not valued nearly as much as it is in Japan. Teachers are really high in the ranks.

I'm personally alright with the uniform costing as much as it does. Given how much the average high school girl will spend on attire over the course of high school, I think that a uniform makes so much more sense financially. The entire lot will set you back around $100, that's a pair of trousers, two shirts, a tie, and a blazer. As for the money-grubbing thing, I would say that most public high schools are in the red as far as costs go. They survive on meager government subsidies and taxes. They don't make nearly as much money as the clothing brands do. What's more, the uniforms (here at least) are made like absolute tanks, it's insane how well-made they are. And in my opinion they look absolutely splendid, spiffing. *sips tea*

Finally, The US seems to view school primarily as a social environment, and while that's certainly a big and important part of it, the priority should always be education. Here, education comes first, with sociality being an important part as well, just not the priority.

Sorry, I know I'm kind of leaving Canada out of the mix, but that's because I've been there maybe twice, and never even seen a single school where I was, let alone study at one. I just have no experience with the school system there, I'm sure it beats the hell out of the US system, though.

In Canada schools are Over-Funded to the point where they dont spend their money well and dont manage it properly.

But yeah of course; And I can see why in Japan they dont give a shit if you sleep or stuff in class. The teachers would rather not waste their time nagging kids from what it seems like because they are generally have a good role figure, just from what you have explained.

In Canada its mainly focused on education, but it seems in High Schools they push kids to join after school clubs and spots and shit even if it's not their thing and they would be rather going home and sleeping or something. They arent forced to they are just pushed to. Also 48 Hours of community service is required to pass. Im sure there is a reason behind it I just cant see one myself.

For uniforms im going to a school without them, simply because here they over charge for generic poorly made clothing and its not the same as in Japan from what you tell me. They have to be SCHOOL BOUGHT. So they have to be ordered from the school's clothing market or whatever or else it's not allowed.
