No, watercooling is only used for extreme overclocking

I am only doing it for the looks..

In that case I'd reccomend a dual 480 setup, with LEDs all over the place, and noctua NF-12 industrials.......j/k

 

Honestly a half decent cpu built within the last few years, shouldn't be loaded up enough gaming at 60 fps, and 1080p. unless you're using a chips onboard graphics. if you are (cringes) you might want in invest in some LN2.....

There are a number of air cooling options that are equal to a number of the lower to common aios out there, and usually cheaper and more efficient to a certain point. After that it gets a bit complicated. Either way, both air and water are viable, but you likely won't need to water cool. Just don't buy very small, and cheap, water coolers for looks, as they are quite inefficient.
