- i7 does not > i5 by definition, i7 is  for hypertheaded tasks

- Don't use IE

- We don't remove USB sticks 'safely' (When Windows says it's ok)

- Never defragment your SSD (okay not every techie knows this)

There isn't really any difference between AMD and Intel if you're just looking at gaming performance.

I actually couldn't underclock my 5 year old GPU to make it as slow as a next-gen console.

it depends on what games your playing, like BF4 will run better on AMD because of mantle

the baracuda's are, but there usb HDD's don't last very long (my experiences)

Depends which AMD CPU you're using. If it's a higher end one, then it doesn't make that much of a difference. But if it's one of the lower end ones, then if I remember correctly, there is a pretty noticeable difference.

-you don't need an anti-virus if you know what you're doing

-linux is the best os and yet it's free

-more expensive != better

-decent PSUs and motherboards make a huge difference and deserve a respectable part of your budget

I don't want this to turn into a war, perhaps there's something I don't know that you do about gaming performance between AMD and Intel CPUs.

We know what version of Windows we're using. (Won't believe how many times a client has called up and I've asked what version of Windows and they don't have a fricking clue.)
