Not So Interesting Little Find

as i was watching some CES 2015 coverage, i saw this from the ModZoo interview with Boone at the Phanteks booth. discussing the Evolve Mini and the new updates for the case a little demonstration revealed something not in the market, but quite the future of something.

from this (1:20) video:

crossbred or pre-production?

edit: sorry, i was pointing out the corsair hXXX 360mm radiator AIO

edit2: after some more investigation it is in fact a H110 and not a 360 AIO

Wait, no, Corsair 360/420MM?

Huh, looks more pre-pro than crossbred to me. That's just me though.

It's like the old days with the motherboard tray that slides out, so it's easier to install and then just slide it back into the case. Now we have rad trays.

Yeah, it's quite a nice concept. I like it, will make radiator install much easier. And on the topic, that radiator. I'd wonder if Corsair knew about this (that's assuming that it's pre-pro and not custom).

Isnt that the H110? Looks pretty small to be a tripple 120... And if you look very closely in the top middle of the rad, you can see the holes for the fan, it is clearly a double 140 rad... :) The design of the tray just confuses...

yeah, i see the rad mounts deeperr in the case looking to be more 280ish than

360ish. i saw the three separate fan spots and assumed they were 120 fan

mounts. yes it looks more like a H110.. good spotting..

its the 280mm H110 positioned on the rack

the rack is compatible with 3x120mm radiators (which is what you probably saw) or 280mm radiators like the H110

its actually a lot smaller than it looks...you would not be able to fit a 420mm rad there

Honestly, for a one time install this is a waste of money.

But for easy cleaning every month after.. a great idea.
