You dont like the new version?

Its a good looking case but... the look of the 780T has gotten much more aggressive

and much bigger. I still like the style of the 600T. Its very much like the Bentley Continental Supersports.

Try i kind feel like the 780t was too similar to the 760t and therefore missed the idea behind the 600t.

Yea the 600T has a more soothing look.

The 780T was too angular for my taste.

phanteks enthoo pro. i have limited experience with pc cases. the case was easy to build in and looks good to me. its a big case, bigger than i thought.

Well they are big towers cases. But yes Phanteks Enthoo is awesome. The luxe is actually one of the cases i have been looking at for ages.

Favorite and best are almost always never the same thing, I really love my 550D but it's far from perfect.

That's why i said that you could split them up in categories ;)

The 550D is a silent case right?

yea but it's kinda a split between an airflow case and a silent case. It's not lots of fan mounts and dampening foam.

I think the only other case I would get other than my 550d is a nzxt 630. fans on the hard drive cage made a decent drop in Temps from my corsair 300r.

Easily the Zalman Z11

EK00038824_1.jpg

And for a =2nd place i'd say would be the Cooler Master HAF 922 Or The CIT Vantage

cit%20vantage%20blue%20-1.jpg

I want to say is well.

I noticed quite a lot of people like cases that are similar in design to the fractal design R3 or the Corsair 800/900D and i know i'll be seen as a INTJ/White/Cis Male/Brony/Neurotypical (5 Ellieh points for knowing what i mean it's a tumblr reference)  For saying this but i dont really that like cases like those? Now i can see the pro's about them cause they are very no nonsense and very professional looking, it's something you would build if you loved your cable management and wanted to make like a build that has the theme of "Silent But Violent" with a bit of a professional touch. (Heck i'll do a quick build for it, i7 4790K - Dual SLI GTX 970's, ASUS Hero Z97 Motherboard - Corsair AX760i - 2X8GB Gold Corsair Vengeance)

But the reason why i love the Z11 (Which is Spookys case Build in my signature)  As opposed to the other cases is because the Z11's Design is just....I Freaking adore how it looks, what comes out at me when i see it, the agressiveness of it's design, it's something i can easily project a personality onto, it reminds me of a alien or like an alien robot (maybe a transformer :D) it's just it doesnt wear off on me, i loved looking at it from Day 1, where as if i had one of those sleek cases it'd just start looking like a box to me eventually (no offence intended).

Or to put in analogy or something more understandable, The R3 or the 800/900D are like very very finely made suits, very professional in their design no nonsense....very suave and neat, but they just mostly look about the same as any other suit (where as cases like those are just very similar in design....heck i've probably mistaken a thermaltake version of a case like it for a corsair one or such), where as if you see a Z11....you know it's a Z11 :].

though how about the HAF 922 and the CiT Vantage? well i am a little sleepy so i guess i'll try be as short as i can, those cases like as i said with the Z11 are easier to project a personality onto? (personally planned to get a HAF922 and make a i5 2550K and HD 7970Ghz Build with), and i guess they have a personality to start with so yeah.

The Vantage on the other hand is slightly different in that i love it for how NOT Extremely agressive it is, I find it to be more....soft and gentle, which would make it awesome for me to make it as a 2nd family PC/HTPC, seems to put a smile on my face.

i guess it all comes down to themes basically, Agressive and Maybe a little swagger for the Z11 (if it was a Smiley it would be ">:D") , HAF 922 (">:)") i'd say was a mix between the Z11 and the Vantage and well yeah the vantage is just soft and homely (":)"). (also for TLDR)

soooooo yeah xD

I mostly hate those flashy cases. The only flashy case i somewhat like is the nzxt 530/phantom series

Well every has different tastes. Honestly I think that the zalman z11 looks kinda like a jet thats about to take off haha. Honestly the case which I absolutely adore is either the corsair 200r or the nzxt s340.

The thing that makes them so attractive is their simplicity and elegance.

It looks really nice, but my R4 is killing my gtx 780 without the side fan hooked up

I have an R5. Favorite case for air cooling. My 5820K doesn't get past 70 (on 1.2V atm). Neither does my 970 (but it's a 970). The airflow on the R5 is so much better than the R4 (used one for my dad). It's a massive improvement. Your 780 will feel the difference.

For someone using a top-mounted 240/280 AIO: Phanteks Enthoo Pro or NZXT S340

For custom liquid cooling: Phanteks Enthoo Primo.

Up until a few minutes ago the Air 240. Then i realised you can't put dual 240mm rads in it so now it's worthless imho. Corsair should do a Water 240 which only has to be a few cm higher lol.
