Where to find .WAV or .FLAC music files?

I've googled, I can't seem to find any website or service that provides this quality of music.

 

I have a spotify subscription but I'd like to compare that with source audio.

 

So does anyone know where I can find free .WAV or .FLAC music?

There's TIDAL, although I'd say the service is a bit of a controversy, some of the files are lossless, some are lossy.

 

there's also you know, our favourite place to get free stuffs ;)

The only place I've ever found it is via torrent sites.

I'm not saying you should, in fact you shouldn't probably because of the chance of viruses, but a last resort after asking the artists for those filetypes.

Monstercat has FLAC.

None of the sites you guys have suggested has the music I want, at least in .wav or .flac format. Except Tidal which I have to pay $20 a month for which is just too ridiculous.

Lossless files are expensive no matter where you get it. The cheapest is to buy Cds.

There's a site called HDtracks.com They don't have everything but they do have a large selection of music and provide it all in very high quality lossless format.

It's pointless, so give up. Much more important and difficult is to find well-mastered music. I have plenty of tracks in my collection that would sound like ass no matter the bitrate.

Get the physical CDs of the things that you want and rip them... Only (barely) legal way that I know of...

 

Otherwise, you're going to have to look at a few sites like KAT and TPB....
