"Here, have some cake, you're obviously in need of some food considering how thin you are."

This is just ridiculous, phones are getting too thin now, I prefer a heavier, bulkier phone because then I feel more assured about its robustness and that it won't just slip through my hand. I've already nearly dropped a friends iPhone 6 because of how light and thin it is.

This is stupid... Note 4's shape/thickness is the best sweet spot

Agreed. I dislike phones that are too thin. The iPhone 6 was thin enough. This is just absurd. I see no advantage to this. No 3.5 jack? Huge disadvantage. That terrible camera bump. The battery life is going to be miserable too.

I prefer something like the GS5/Note 4, Z3 and G3, where they don't focus on making the thinnest phone, but actual features that are useful.

Plus people always put cases on their phones anyways (every iPhone6/+ user at my school has one), so it kinda ruins this whole movement towards thinner and thinner.

It's bs because they could have made the jack with another bump like camera one just on the orther side so it would even sit flat on the table. Oh well chinese not the smartest.

Yeah, most "tech" people don't use them. We take care of our stuff more than the "peasants" do.   Plus I like how phones look. People take time designing them (Jony Ive comes to mind), so I don't want to ruin it by putting a case on it. If I want to protect my phone from scratches, I'd use a skin/screen protector. As for drops, well I don't drop my phone.  :D

People need to look beyond the shallow aesthetic value of an impossibly thin device. Makes me wonder how many pieces will it shatter into if it falls from your hand to the concrete pavement.

Yep. I've never dropped my phone more than 6 inches. Also the Note 4 is too beautiful to cover up.

I don't trust anything from Android Authority after their farce with the iPhone 6

>That aside, i don't use a case for my Xperia Z1 either, why would i cover up such a beautiful phone if aesthetics was a factor in my purchase in the first place?

The KnifePhone. A great example of something so outrageous it just might work.

Could be a self defense weapon, a great cooking implement or a neat little utility knife for camping or fishing or whatever. Can also be a funny unboxing knife xD

Would be hell for travellers though.

On topic:

A small bump for the headphone jack (or a wedge-shaped phone design) would've been better than an adapter IMO.

Or they could've just gone entirely wireless. Bluetooth for audio, Qi wireless charging, NFC.
