1. It would be nice to have one for a lot of stuff. I want to play around with OS X some, and there is some stuff that I do that would actually be better on one.

2. You should have gone with a 4690K or if you were me, ditch i5s and i7s as a whole and go retro with the Core 2 series.

1. Already tried and failed, and it's a pain having to unplug my SSD and HDD just to use my SSD that would have OS X on it.

2.I didn't have money for anything better, and I find the Core 2 stuff to be damn near useless for anything other than the internet and VERY mild gaming (I abuse the crap out of CPU's). And what do CPU's have anything to do with graphics cards?

1. Aw that sucks. You sure you can't have both plugged in while running OS X?

2. Are you saying the Core 2 series is weak? I've seen people play the latest titles with a Core 2 Quad Extreme and a 780 with no bottlenecks. CPUs can bottleneck GPUs if they are not powerful, and the Core 2 series is still powerful.
