Pornography produced in the UK was quietly censored today through an amendment to the 2003 Communications Act, and the measures appear to take aim at female pleasure.

The Audiovisual Media Services Regulations 2014 requires that video-on-demand (VoD) online porn now adhere to the same guidelines laid out for DVD sex shop-type porn by the British Board of Film Censors (BBFC).

It's worth noting by the way that this doesn't apply to internet porn, but only DVDs that are rated by the AMSR certificate board and then sold as porn DVDs. Also it's only an issue if it's being created in the UK - it's still okay to watch.

 

Still stupid as fuck though. This country is turning into a nanny state.

I don't think anything is blocked yet, but I'm curious, if the government will give those sites the same censorship as thepiratebay. I bet the male population of the UK is not going to appreciate that :P

jk, but UKIP isn't really the best way to spend your vote; the current conservative government has done pretty well in making change, and I don't see how UKIP is a way forwards; if anything, they are a step backwards.

 

Besides, Nigel Farage is more against porn than Davey C is.

This is just flat out censorship right here. The government should not have a say in what people are into kink wise, unless it's exploiting or harming children (cough cough, child pornography).
