None, lol, just the shape (triangular?) resembles it. :P

Its actually just depth perception I think! The piece of fish was cut into a rectangle but the tail of the fish tapers off a bit giving a bit of a triangle look from that angle.

Really jealous of your stove right now. I hate the look of modern safety stoves.

And the meat looks good too^^

I made meatloaf today because i couldn't be arsed to cook anything else.

Thank you! Parents cook so much they recently decided to blow out and get a nice one!

How do you do your meatloaf? Its always so different from person to person. It's a great dish.

Ah....meatloaf. It can be good, and then it can be really bad.

I'd also like to know how you all do meatloaf, would be really educational. :)

Well firstly, I take Ground Turkey and then put in Italian Seasoned Breadcrumbs then mix the bread crumbs into the meat with an egg sometimes and then a can of golden mushroom soup and some of it goes on the meatloaf and some is reserved for gravy.

It's basically the "Campbell's Simply Delicious Meatloaf and Gravy" but some changes were made and the egg became optional for us since we don't mind a drier meatloaf.

I'm not a huge fan of mushrooms (it's really the texture tbh) but the golden mushroom soup that is used doesn't over do the mushrooms.

Though yeah it can be pretty bad... Mostly that sauce concoction that is slathered on the meatloaf which can have a gross texture and taste (and I generally don't mind ketchup)

Big kudos for the mushrooms! I love them!

I have never heard of that recipe, I'll have to check it out, actually sounds pretty tasty! Your recipe reminds me of what I do for spaghetti meatballs by the way, which is I generally just use ground beef, mix it with an egg + the breadcrumbs and seasonings and then roll each in canola oil and then again in breadcrumbs. They come out so moist and tasty.

And for meatloaf: I like to use cut up mushrooms, carrots, onions and ketchup and mix it in with the meat. xD

Well yeah I just change out the beef for turkey and like I said in my post I'm not a huge fan of mushrooms because of the texture but in the Golden Mushroom soup the mushrooms aren't over done.

I like the occasional mushroom here and there, though I'm iffy about the real big ones...

I quite like lamb, not for everyone though! But I'd never have guessed it taste like moose! Do you eat moose in Sweden?

Nothing like the grill alright ;)

If someone shoots a moose then you generally eat it. Would be a waste not to.

It isn't common though.

Now i just need to find a texan steakhouse

I'll be frank, I didn't know there are moose in Sweden! :P but yes, it's viable meat, as any other.

Americans sure do have some good meats alright. Close by to me there have been a bunch of Australian barbecue type places that have opened. Curious as to how they are.

Texas barbecue is said to be incredibly good^^

Australian barbecue? The name immediately conjures up images of grilled gigantic spiders that'll still kill you..

You can get tarantulas on sticks somewhere. But i think i'll pass too.

Yup.. The Goliath birdeater tarantula is part of south american cuisine and the taste is described as "Shrimp-like"... Egh.

In australia and around that region they have Huntsman spiders.. Some of which can grow up to 30cm's in leg span..

So i'll pass on australian cuisine.. And that entire part of the earth for that matter..

They are known to cling to people if they pick them up (Don't see why the fuck you would pick one of the feckers up..)

And then bite if they are "Startled".. And are not considered dangerous enough to warrant even a hospital visit (According to wikipedia)

they are even considered beneficial for some inane reason.. Bleh.

But still. At 30cm's they'd be a properly sized snack for.. sick and twisted weirdos i guess..

(I'm arachnophobic.. thats why i know these things..)

Also. "Defiantly on the bucket list" xD

What a name for a spider "birdeater"... :S

But yeah, that point was brought up in conversation once, we're happy to eat "sea insects" (shrimp and the likes) and yet people are terrified of eating bugs :P funny that.

Just googled that, and wow that country does have some bat shot stuff. I love how used to it Australians are though, makes it quite funny.

Certainly not an arachanophone's paradise :P

I wouldn't mind trying some cooked bugs at some point. But i'll probably stick to shrimp and fish.

I knew a guy in my old wow guild that called them "House spiders" and he did not give a shit about them being near him.

Meanwhile i leap out of the window at the sight of a regular swedish house spider. And those are tiny.

I'd also like to try eating snake at some point. Just to say that i've done it.

Oh. And crawfish is delicious.

Thats one thing i've got to hand to the swedes. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crayfish_party <-- Highlight of the year.

Speaking if Australia, do they eat kangaroo?

Nice! i'v had crocodile once, but it was much less particular then i thought, I always imagined snake would taste similar.

Crawfish! Yes that is excellent, I have had it a couple of times only, not that that way, however, but i'm a huge fan of dill. Must have a food trip in Scandinavia one day.
