Its actually just depth perception I think! The piece of fish was cut into a rectangle but the tail of the fish tapers off a bit giving a bit of a triangle look from that angle.

Yuh, had some nice food here as well these 2 days.

 

I am on a Eat everything I want diet until the new year. :P Will then resume my normal diet.

Fry up some diced bacon.

Throw some eggs in a pan with the bacon

Fry the bread in the pan after you've done that

Anyone here have experience making piroshki? If so, got any suggestions for the filling? A favorite recipe to follow, even?

Had to google what that was, basically a pastry filled with other food? I suggest onion+meat or something, always tasty.

 

Yea, it is a Russian stuffed bread (sometimes fried I think). I tried making my own with this recipe, turned out like crap (taste wise), so I was wondering if anyone here had a good recipe (or their own too I guess) and ideas for some filling. I was going to just use ground beef, but that doesn't sound very creative or tasty. lol

 

By the way, onions = awesome. So you get a like. B)

Oh lol that recipe is actually with onion, damn it should taste good then.

 

Try mushrooms with it :P

You must learn to resist impulse purchases :D

It isn't really an impulse buy situation

Its just that one thing that pops into my head sometimes when i go to the store

"Oooh! I should buy those! those are awesome!"

And then i'll be walking out of the store and then i remember that i forgot to buy it
