I have 16 gb 2400Mhz ram and I was wondering if I needed cooling for my ram or not?

Pretty sure your heat spreaders on your RAM would do the job for you.

Do you even need heat spreaders on the RAM on the first place?

vram and ram are two diffrent things :D

 

lets say youd have 1600mhz ddr3 and overclock your ram. THAN you MAY need extra ram cooling.

 

So in your case: Hell no you dont!

1. You were overclocking.

2. You wanted your system to look more beast.

3. You wanted yor system to be as cool as possible.

Yeah, my ram overheats if I don't custom watercool it so you really should

.

How do you even monitor ram temp lol

You don't need heatsinks. The Samsung RAM that i have originally came at 1600MHZC11 1.35V. It runs at 2200MHZC9-11-11 1.55V.

Doesn't even get close to warm.
