What do they know of England, who only England know?

During the week, I get about 7 hours sleep, then at the weekends I get anywhere between 6-10 hours sleep, depending on the events of the day and whether I just want to stay up watching the TV.

I don't sleep, when my brain needs rest, half of it shuts down while the other one stays awake, they alternate like this for about 2-3 hours per side. Pretty much like dolphins. Gotta stay alert, you never know what might happen.

Jk. Porbably about 8 ish hours depending on the workload at school. (usually sleep at 11, get up at 7). If the workload is real, then I work until 12 to 1 ish

Home is where the heart my desktop is.

Three to seven hours on average... Minimum of three hours of sleep to maintain SAN points during daytime...

Not enough lately..... Monday - Thursday I usually get 3-4 hours of sleep and then I completely crash on friday and sleep for 12 - 15 hours straight. The weekend is fine again, with 8 or so hours of sleep. Anything from 7 - 9 hours seems ideal for me, I think that would be a healthy amount especially if it was consistent.

At least I do not have social life next to it lol

There is no preferred sleep duration because sleep requirements for humans is dependent on a lot of factors (some you control, some you don't).

That being said the ideal sleep duration appears to be 7-8 hours for most people, with some folks fine with 6ish hours and a smaller genetic lottery group that gets by fine on 4-5 hours.  And of course there's the other end of the spectrum, people that can get by on 7-8 but prefer 9-12.

For myself, I'm just about perfect with 7.5 hours but I usually get 8 to 8.5.  Sleep is amazing.  I can make do with much less with regularity but the performance difference is palpable, not to mention skipping sleep is just bad for you short, medium, and long term.  I maintain a sleep schedule and don't deviate unless it's an emergency, 7.5-8.5 every single night.
