The desing is EXTREME with tripple slot cooler and the performance is even more ETREME .

I'm actually with you Linus, I usually don't like what a lot of people would call gaudy or garish coolers on cards, but for some reason I really like the look of that carbon fibersih cooler on the Extreme.   And I really love the performance to power draw ratio of the 980 in general.

So am from kenya and i was saving to buy myself a new rig for work and play and i was looking to buy the gtx 760 but just a week later the 980 and 970 came out and  now am eyeing the 970. Keep them reviews coming

I like the really good performance per watt and beast overclocking the Maxwell architecture can achieve.

Also, the extreme cooler is SO AWESOME.

What I find really good about the 900-series is the efficiency. So much performance for so little power.

 

Specifically with the Zotac-cards, I like the design of both cards (especially the omega extreme). They, perhaps, look a bit over-the-top, but then again, these are some of the most powerful GPUs ever. OC+ certianly is a nice feature too.
